Just got back from seven days in the woods with my kids, parents, sis and bro-in-law, and two nephews. I'm paler than I was when I started, and much more tired, but it was a week to be remembered. Pictures will show up here in a day or two. In the meantime . . .
There are few things in life better than tubing. Tubing: That is, floating down a lazy, slow river on an inner tube, resting on your back with your butt in the water in the center of the tube, gazing up at the sun and clouds, and occasionally flipping over to your stomach, watching the rocks and tiny fishes go by under water beneath your outsplayed hands while you float on top of the tube down the water-y miles.
One of the things better than that is synchronized tubing. Where you and your two kids join hands, laying on your tubes forming a trident in the water, on your stomachs, and follow the synchronization leader's commands of "right leg UP," "left leg UP," "BOTH legs UP!" and cracking up as you follow directions and realize you look like supreme dorks there in the water.
Fun.
Sounds like a very relaxing, fun way to spend a vacation. Glad to hear you had a good time!

That sounds like a blast. I've been tubing a couple of time sin Texas and had a great time.
