Well, it's not quite here, meaning in my driveway, but my new car is ready!
My shiny new, black, Toyota Prius with a gray interior. It's been over four months since I put my name on the waiting list, and I probably reduced my chances of getting one earlier because I refused to accept the alternative interior color of crappy beige. I don't think the salesperson quite understood how adamant I was about that when I ordered the car. But really, I'm going to be spending far more time looking at the inside of the thing than at the outside, and I refused to budge on this. Every other car I've ever purchased wasn't the color I originally wanted, and I always gave in, but not this time. These days, I'm older and I've got LOTS more patience.
I'm looking forward to forgetting the names of all the attendants at the gas station, because I won't be filling up every other day anymore. Sixty miles per gallon, baby. Six-tee. 60. Miles. Per. Gallon. And maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to resist plastering the thing with stickers. (At least a dozen have been added since that photo . . . )
Suggestions for a name are welcome; new cars must have a name, right?
Okay, try to follow me on this. I think you should call it "Doc." Because: It is your dream come true in this age of high gas prices, right? So, realization of a dream, so dream realized, so D.R. or Dr. or Doctor, and so, it becomes "Doc."
Yeah, my brain has left the building. heh

You gave me the name of my new car....but I'm too drunk to come up with a name for yours. I'm glad you've finally got your Prius, though!!!
